Up for auction today from Risico LLC is a beautiful non firing prop replica of a Mauser C96.  This weapon saw action in both world wars and was given the nick name broom handled due to the pistol grips appearance.  This version is a replica of a 1896 model and it would of taken a 7.63 mm Mauser cartridge.  

During the war a detachable stock would of been attached.
